Alhamdulillah, a property has been purchased for Masjid Al-Taqwa for $720,000 through a land contract. A total payment of $445,000 has been made so far, which includes $348,000 paid directly from the Masjid fund, a $42,000 interest-free loan, and $55,000 paid over the past eleven months. Currently, the remaining balance is $275,000, which includes $233,000 outstanding and an additional $42,000 interest-free loan. We also have an ongoing monthly payment of $5,000. Allah says, ‘Spend from the sustenance that I have given you before death comes to any of you, for then he may say, “O my Lord, if you had given me respite for a little while longer, I would have given in charity and been among the righteous.” But Allah will never grant a soul any extension when its time is up, and He is fully aware of one’s actions.’ (Surah Al-Munafiqun, Verses 10-11)

অনুবাদঃ আল্লাহ বলেন, ‘আর আমি তোমাদের যে রিজিক দিয়েছি তা থেকে ব্যয় করো, তোমাদের কারো মৃত্যু আসার আগে। কেননা তখন সে বলবে, হে আমার রব, যদি আপনি আমাকে আরো কিছুকাল পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিতেন, তাহলে আমি দান-সদকা করতাম। আর সৎ লোকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম। আর আল্লাহ কখনো কোনো প্রাণকেই অবকাশ দেবেন না, যখন তার নির্ধারিত সময় এসে যাবে। আর তোমরা যা করো সে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ সম্যক অবহিত।’(সুরা মুনাফিকুন, আয়াত : ১০-১১)
